Based on the beloved Oscar-winning film Tootsie, the musical won the Tony Award® for Best Book of a Musical and earned 11 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. The show features music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner David Yazbek (The Band's Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn (13: The Musical, Shucked).
Fast-paced and outrageously funny, Tootsie explores themes of identity, ambition, and ego, delivering big laughs along the way.
