Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances burst with irresistible rhythms and big, memorable tunes — the perfect introduction to classical music!
Created especially for children aged 0–5, these 30-minute interactive performances invite little listeners to engage with live music in an active, joyful way. The extraordinary musicians of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra perform music arranged for a small ensemble by composer Tim Hansen, joined by beloved children’s entertainer Emily Who.
Families are welcomed with comfortable floor seating. Sit, listen, and move together as your children explore classical music in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.
Ready, Set, Listen! is an ideal first-concert experience — one that sparks imagination, encourages curiosity, and helps inspire a lifelong love of music.
