The zombie apocalypse has arrived, and TikTok is the only way to communicate. In a world of zombie kill tallies, survival tips, and out-of-bounds Bunnings stores, Sheree and Tash are holed up in a bowling alley bunker—until another survivor appears and challenges their carefully controlled isolation.
Maybe it’s time to see who—or what—else is still out there. With big decisions to make and no working flamethrower to defend them, two Blak women must figure out how to survive a world that’s actively trying to kill them.
Eat Slay Zombie, co-directed by playwright and multidisciplinary artist Alinta McGrady (a Githabul-Migunberri-Yugambeh woman) and Lisa Fa'alafi, Co-Artistic Director of Polytoxic and performer in Hot Brown Honey, is a sharp horror-comedy about colonisation, friendship, and state occupation—except… with zombies.
