The internationally acclaimed Doric String Quartet brings its luminous sound and impeccable interpretations to every performance. From Ludwig van Beethoven’s rich and enigmatic first ‘Razumovsky’ Quartet to Benjamin Britten’s delicate Divertimentos, this is chamber music at its finest.
For their 2026 Australian tour, the Quartet joins forces with multi-award-winning Adelaide-based clarinettist Lloyd Van’t Hoff. Together, they present Alchymia by British composer Thomas Adès, hailed by critics as “one of the best chamber music compositions of our time.” Expect an extraordinary collaboration as these international and Australian artists share the stage, turning sound into gold.
