Get hands-on with traditional jewelry-making during this small-group silver workshop near Ubud's Monkey Forest. No previous experience is required, making the activity suitable for beginners who want to try something creative and take home a personalized keepsake.
Start by choosing from sample designs or developing a design of your own. Under the guidance of an experienced local Bali silversmith, you'll learn how to work with silver through techniques including soldering, sanding, shaping, and polishing.
Each participant creates one silver jewelry piece, with the finished design belonging to you. The experience lasts approximately 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the design and crafting process.
Silver usage is calculated at up to 5 grams per participant. Even if your finished piece weighs less than 5 grams, the silver allocation is still accounted for as 5 grams.
