2-Hour City Trolley Tour – See Over 70 Sites
Thu, Sep 03, 2026 07:00 AM - Fri, Jul 30, 2027 15:00 PM
Description
Discover Winnipeg’s most iconic neighborhoods and landmarks on a 2-hour narrated city trolley tour covering more than 70 notable sites across downtown, St. Boniface, and residential areas.
From the charming streets of St. Boniface to the historic Exchange District and the Manitoba Legislative Building, you’ll uncover the stories, people, and unexpected connections that have shaped the city. Along the way, your professional guide will share fascinating local tales, including:
- Why Winnipeg could rightfully be called “Secret New York.”
- How a local brewery unknowingly inspired Budweiser’s most famous marketing campaign.
- The house where Neil Young grew up and Winnipeg’s connection to one of the most iconic rock songs of the 1970s.
- Which cartoon character is an honorary Winnipegger—and no, it’s not Winnie the Pooh, although that’s another Winnipeg story.
- The story of young Winnipegger Terry Fox, whose decision to go for a run changed Canada forever.
- Winnipeg’s unexpected and somewhat shocking connection to James Bond.
